Extensive Lifeguard Training
Our pool operators and managers receive extensive ongoing training and supervision to guarantee the safety of our clients’ members.
- Employees are required to attend a team training session before being able to work
- New team members are required to attend an orientation session to learn all the Douglas Aquatics policies and procedures
- We schedule and provide in-service training every two weeks at all multi-guard facilities. This training gives our staff the opportunity to practice their skills and Emergency Action Plan at their home job site versus just in the initial lifeguard training class
- Pool managers attend meetings every two weeks during the summer to receive leadership training, review any issues and team problem-solving.
